The executive team has a combined experience of over 60 years.  Together the team has extensive experience, both in payroll, human resource management, benefits administration and value personalized customer service. 

Bill Smyth - President and Founder -

Bill Smyth, FCGA - President and Founder

Bill is a professional accountant by trade, has been involved in the processing of payrolls and human resource management for over three decades. In 1985 he founded a service bureau specifically to service Canadian Film and Television productions, and serviced virtually every major Studio in the US including, Disney, Paramount, Universal, Twentieth Century Fox, etc. In 1989 Bill founded to service clients outside of the entertainment industry and Canada in 2000 to serve as a Professional Employer Organization (PEO).

Bill was the first non-American President of the Independent Payroll Providers Association of the United States, and is a member of the National Association of Professional Employers Organization (NAPEO), The Payroll Group, Canadian Payroll Association and a long time member of the American Payroll Association.  He is actively involved with NAPEO, currently serving on 4 committees. He has served on the Board of the Canadian Payroll Association, retiring as Vice Chairman and is a Past President of the Certified General Accountants Association of British Columbia.

In addition to the payroll business and actively volunteering in his community, he ran a herd of 120 Registered Black Angus Cattle. He traded his "hobby" of farming cattle for a few years of boating on the west coast before moving back east.  He still misses the farm and his boat!


Natasha Smyth, Vice President

Natasha Smyth, B.Sc. (Agr), CPM - Vice President

Natasha has been in the payroll and human resources industry for over a decade. She is responsible for internal and external development of the company.

She has been a member of the National Association of Professional Employers Organization, the Canadian Payroll Association, The Payroll Group and the American Payroll Association(APA). She often speaks at APA statewide annual conferences on Canadian Payroll. She has worked with the Employer Services Advisory Committee for Worksafe BC to improve reporting and payment procedures for employers and reduce paper burden.  She served on the board of the Independent Payroll Provider Association.

Natasha has a B.Sc. in agriculture and has completed the Canadian Payroll Association's Payroll Management Certification Program achieving Certified Payroll Manager.
