Expanding Your PEO Internationally

North Vancouver, British Columbia – September 21,2015 - Bill Smyth, President of OnPayroll.ca Canada Corp recently moderated and spoke on a panel at the annual National Association Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO) conference held in Phoenix Arizona. The subject of the panel was Expanding your PEO internationally.

On the panel with Bill was Matt Walters, Head of Operations at Capital Consulting, Jane Booth, Director of Sales at PEO Globalization Partners, and Rita Hook, European Development Director of Sales, Sequent, Inc. Walters addressed some key differences in the PEO markets internationally in particular with respect to labour laws, Booth discussed why International PEOs are different and how the information flows, Hook addressed more how to attract business internationally for US based PEOs, and Smyth talked about the primary differences between the US and Canada and what US based PEOs need to know about expanding into Canada.

Bill and members of the OnPayroll.ca team speak regularly at events around the US in particular, addressing Canadian Payroll issues for parties interested in setting up operations in Canada.
